Cha-Lor Flowers opened for business in 1969 as a family owned and operated flower shop and it still is today. Thanks to my mother’s example of a long career in the floral business, I learned by doing. I worked part-time for several years as a teen and college student for the original owners of Cha-Lor Flowers. I’m a thirty year resident of the Western suburbs of Chicago; my wife and I have three children. I am a member of SAF (Society of American Florists).
Because all of our customers are important, our staff is dedicated to making your shopping experience a pleasant one. That is why we always go the extra mile to make your floral gift perfect. I’m privileged to have my sister, Janice, as store manager and designer. She works with another senior designer, Cheryl, along with three part-time designers…Pam, Sue and Jodi that fill in during the high seasons. It is important to our reputation to have adequate staff at all times. Our drivers are indispensible…Ralph and George work within our delivery area as well as with a "pool" of delivery services that encompass the entire Chicago area.
We offer the same huge inventory and selection that the largest online florists offer, but we are not the ‘largest online florist’…we are your personal online florist.
